The backroad to Hana - Page 2

Francis was driving like a madman on this little trip. He was like a kid who just got his license! It was a long drive so we had a chance to stop and take some nice scenic pictures. Most tourists take the north windy road to Hana, but we took the south, straight, and partly gravely road. It was fun for Francis, not so much for Jo. She got a headache!




We saw a black sands beach, the south slope of Haleakala, and an old Hawaiian church.




We never made it to Hana, but we saw a fione hawaiian guy on a ATV roll buy who gave us the shaka sign. Joanne thought he was a cutie.


Another rainbow as we head back home.
